Course Methodology

This course offers practical exercises that will allow all participants to use the knowledge they gained to demonstrate their skills in troubleshooting a process problem.

Participants will be immersed into an interactive environment where they will learn how to:

  1. Perform calculations of turn down ratio required for a specific application

  2. Provide measurement solutions

  3. Calculate the given current output for any given input to the transmitter

  4. Calculate the time constant for a process

  5. Arrive at base values for the parameters of proportional, integral and derivative values

Course Objectives

  1. study the main component used for design any classic control circuit.

  2. study the electrical power sources.

  3. study the electrical motor types.

  4. designing power and control circuits for start stop of three phase induction motor.

  5. designing power and control circuits for start stop and revers direction of three phase induction motor.

  6. designing power and control circuits for start three motor one by one with time delay.

  7. designing power and control circuits with star delta starting for three phase induction motor

  8. designing power and control circuits with star delta starting and revers direction for three phase induction motor
